Raja Venkateswar Connects Filmistan to Explain Management Mantra

Raja Venkateswar, a visionary and ardent tech enthusiast, has written his first book, “Memories, Movies and Management,” which expresses his thoughts. A mind transparent as crystal and as broad as a blue canopy. The book is written in an approachable tone and is both insightful and funny. This is a highly insightful read, yet being simple to read. Highly recommended for everyone who appreciates using and understanding leadership principles in a compassionate way. The speech from Indian cinema that is used as instruction also works as a beautiful metaphor.

Raja, who was raised in Kolkata and completed his education at St. Lawrence, has attempted to enrol in four international universities: the University of Sydney, the IE Business School, the University of Chicago, and the Indian Institute of Technology. He had to climb some extremely tall peaks, cross Amazonian jungles, and suffer a few snake and piranha bites along the way. He lives in Sydney, Australia, at the moment, and he and his pet hen often share ideas for letters. He is usually this book. It is evident how much he loves films, people, and thoughtful discussion of significant management issues since it is said from the heart.

His excitement for authoring a book grew as he and the team constructively questioned the numerous managerial options available. His selected theory of management is illustrated by 21 of his favourite Hindi films. “I’ve watched Agneepath eight times in ten days,” should tell you how much Raja enjoys watching films. His depth of knowledge and generosity has been inspiring. His book, which is both authentic and intriguing on a personal level (you’ll learn a lot about films!) and professional one (you’ll learn even more about what is crucial for your business), reflects all of this.

Few individuals possess the same level of expertise and insight in technology and business strategy as he does. His reflections and stories, which are laced with amiable allusions to my favourite Bollywood star, make this very evident throughout the book. Raja is a devoted follower of Mohun Bagan Club, Indian cricket, and Amitabh Bachchan. He enjoys living each day to the fullest. “Having enjoyment is the main goal of life. And every day is a reason to celebrate,” he thinks. His next project will therefore be unrelated to corporate dynamics of management. “I’ve already finished writing a humour book. Next year, I want to release that as my second book. Raja comes out as confident and open.  This book should be read by anyone who wants to learn how the greatest have failed and how they have adapted to the rapidly changing times. It reads easily! Some of the personal experiences that Raja shared in his modest, easygoing tone really appealed to me.

The book was launched in Kolkata at a City Café by Ahava Communication. Renowned theatre personality Biplab Dasgupta moderated an insightful panel discussion featuring writers Baisali Chatterjee Dutt, journalist Manjira Majumdar, and author Raja Venkateswar. This is only the start. He promises to return by the middle of the next year with two more, if you enjoy this one.
